THE PRODUCERS
Twelve producing families of Tesoro Escondido have signed an agreement with the Chocó Project to protect the forest and improve the cacao quality of Tesoro Escondido. Don Antonio and Suzy, Don Néstor, Yadira and Patricio, Don Enrique, Maggy and Javier, Santa and Felipe, Polivio, Alcívar, Marlene, Don Medina, Teresa and Jaime live in one of the most biodiverse place on Earth and their commitment to protect their forests, home of the brown-headed spider monkeys, is vital to this Projet.
They are integral members of the Chocó Project team and true conservationists. They also produce a high quality Nacional cacao, tested by chocolate experts in Ecuador, the United States and Europe. The sustainable and organic production of their cacao has allowed them to understand the necessity to minimise human impact on the environment. They are great advocates of a fairer and more environmentally-friendly world!
